After more than 30 years in the banking industry and peripherals of the auto industry, Joe Roberts founded Auto Buyers Consumer Services. His background includes 14 years as a bank President and CEO, several years as a bank liaison to dealerships developing financing products and inventory floorplans and many years experience in every facet of consumer vehicle financing and leasing.
Thus, in 1997, Joe began utilizing his wealth of experience to assist his clients in obtaining the best prices possible for the new vehicle of their choice. ABCS saves its clients hundreds, even thousands of dollars below the prices they negotiate on their own. Additionally, their clients are spared the countless hours and the hassles of going from dealer to dealer to conduct their negotiations.
In 2006, Joe was joined by his son-in-law, Adrian Culjat, in order to carry on the tradition of excellence to future generations. Adrian, holds a degree in Mathematics/Economics from UCLA and a background in the auto insurance industry, bringing yet another dimension of experience and expertise to the ABCS team. Joe’s passion for customer service and integrity, his inside dealer relationships and his wealth of knowledge were quickly absorbed by Adrian who began managing the business in 2009.
Adrian purchased ABCS in January, 2011 and has grown and modernized the business to serve an unprecedented number of satisfied clients, many of whom are repeat customers from the 1990s, and many of whom are new clients who have vowed to ‘never buy a car any other way.’ Travis Wimmer joined ABCS in 2016 from a background in Auto Repair. He is passionate about cars and provides an additional level of expertise and a vast knowledge of the auto industry. Adrian, Travis and the staff at ABCS continue to provide an unmatched level of service and value to help clients sort through the overwhelming amount of information and ‘noise’ in the auto industry today, as well as a convenience and enormous time savings to clients in these busy times.
